The Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition provides expert instruction, adjudication and performance opportunities for emerging trained singers aged 18-35. Participants prepare three Mozart arias and perform in Round One of master classes with Artistic Director, David Bowser. Selected participants will then perform in Round Two of master classes with soprano, Nathalie Paulin. The Competition is held at the Church of the Redeemer and is open to the public (admission donations will be accepted). Four singers will be selected to perform as soloists in Mozart’s Requiem with the Toronto Mozart Players and the Hart House Chorus on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm and will receive a cash prize. The first place winner of the Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition will receive a prize of $1000.
Audience members are encouraged to attend. Donations will be accepted for admission.
