Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition

The Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition provides expert instruction and performance opportunities for emerging trained singers aged 18-35. Participants submit three Mozart arias for Round One of master classes with artistic director, David Bowser. Selected participants will then move on to Round Two of master classes with soprano Nathalie Paulin. The Competition will be held on Friday January 26, Saturday January 27 and Sunday January 28, 2024. Winners of the competition will be performing recitals in our April concert, with vocalists receiving scholarship awards for an outstanding emerging artists.

Past performers / scholarship recipients include Emily Rocha, Catherine Psarakis, Sarah Richmond, Amy Moodie, Rachel Miller, David Walsh, Elizabeth Polese, Whitney Mather, Andrea Nunez, Lyndsay Promane, Daevyd Pepper, Megan Miceli, Georgia Burashko, David Diston, Jennifer Routhier, Kendra Dyck and River Guard.

Applications to the 2024 Competition are no longer being accepted.
