These three sensational singers are invited to perform as soloists in Mozart’s “Requiem” with the Toronto Mozart Players under the baton of artistic director David Bowser on March 29, 2020, 2:00 PM at Church of the Redeemer.

The Mozart Project invites you to attend the vocal master classes of the Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition. Come hear a sensational roster of 37 singers in a variety of Mozart repertoire with feedback and instruction from David Bowser and Krisztina Szabó. Master classes take place at Church of the Redeemer, 162 Bloor St West. Admission is free.

The Toronto Mozart Vocal Competition provides expert instruction and performance opportunities for emerging trained singers aged 18-35. Participants prepare three Mozart arias and perform in Round One of master classes with artistic director, David Bowser. Selected participants then perform in Round Two of master classes with mezzo-soprano Krisztina Szabó. The Competition is held on Friday January 24, Saturday January 25 and Sunday January 26, 2020, at Church of the Redeemer and is open to the public. Four singers will be selected to perform in concert as soloists in Mozart’s Requiem with the Toronto Mozart Players and Pax Christi Chamber Choir on Sunday March 29 2020 at 2:00pm and will receive a scholarship award of $500 or $1000 for an outstanding emerging artist.
Past performers / scholarship recipients include Elizabeth Polese, Whitney Mather, Andrea Nunez, Lyndsay Promane, Daevyd Pepper, Megan Miceli, Georgia Burashko, David Diston, Jennifer Routhier, Kendra Dyck and River Guard.
