Front of House Volunteer
Mozart Project is looking for people with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to support our Front of House activities.
Why the Mozart Project needs this role
Front of House Volunteers provide a warm and friendly welcome to our audience members. Front of House Volunteers engage with audience in the concert hall and help with ticket sales, answering questions, assisting audience members to their seats, as well as to perform other tasks that may be required.
- Act as an ambassador for the Mozart Project, offering the highest quality of customer service and presentation.
- Overseeing the sale of admission tickets, concessions and collecting donations.
- Hand out programmes.
- Usher patrons to seats.
- Help setup and clean the stage.
- Assist with post-concert clean up.
Volunteers from all backgrounds and experience are welcome, especially those who have an interest in classical music. Volunteers should be polite, friendly and helpful to all visitors. You will need to have good observation and conversation skills and have an eye for detail. Punctuality, reliability and interpersonal skills are important. The role is suited to anyone who enjoys meeting people and who likes working as part of a team. You will be volunteering under the guidance of a Manager, but much of the time you will be working unsupervised. You will be on your feet for most of your time but there is seating for you to utilise. This role may involve computer work.
